Nigel Kennedy plays Kreisler

I wish this were an actual video instead of just still photographs, but the music is awesome: Nigel Kennedy playing Fritz Kreisler's Praeludium and Allegro in the Style of Pugnani.

This is a beautiful piece. I'm shocked that we don't own it. What are you waiting for?

Good question! I just ordered a CD of Kreisler music from Amazon, with Joshua Bell playing violin. Don't hold your breath, though--I used Super Saver shipping!

I feel like a fifth wheel here

I think you mean third wheel unless you know something I don't.

By the way, we got the CD and it's terrific!

Doug used the correct expression--a "fifth wheel" and a "third wheel" both mean: something that is unwanted or unneeded.

(Here we are, continuing our repartee when we are literally sitting right next to each other!)
